Inside the tune

What changed.

8 observations

Observed calibration changes in this accepted file. Expand an observation for the analysis and any uncertainty.

01Raised pressure and valve-lift targets

Observed high-load valve-lift targets raised to 10.5, a pressure threshold raised from 2,300 to 3,200 hPa, and compressor pressure ratios increased across a 48-cell surface.

02Torque and clutch limits substantially increased

Observed multiple torque curves raised or flattened to 500–1,000 Nm, a clutch maximum increased from 750 to 1,000 Nm, and one engine-torque curve saturated at 3,276.7 Nm.

03Vehicle and engine speed limits raised

Observed vehicle-speed limits increased to values between 350 and 400 km/h. Several engine-speed limits were raised, including related thresholds set to 6,000 rpm.

04Torque diagnostic thresholds increased together

Observed a coordinated set of torque plausibility, request and fault thresholds raised from approximately 400–500 Nm to 500–530 Nm.

05Knock-control thresholds and retard offsets changed

Observed eight knock-detection threshold surfaces increased by 0.25 while preserving their shapes. Four cylinder retard-offset surfaces were shifted by 0.75°, including formerly zero cells becoming positive.

06Repeated enrichment patterns across unrelated functions

Observed recurring 0.85–0.95 value patterns in lambda targets and several correction or idle-control surfaces. Multiple lambda-related definitions also had implausibly small declared axes, limiting confidence in those specific functions.

07Several limits set to extreme encoded values

Observed a compressor surge curve flattened to 3.9999, a filter-loading ratio forced to 327.67%, an engine-speed maximum changed to -0.5, and a duration threshold changed from 500 ms to 65,535.

08Sound-related thermal thresholds increased

Observed sound-function speed and thermal thresholds raised, including temperature thresholds increased from 900 to 1,100 °C and a related curve flattened to 950 °C.
