Your BIN is uploaded privately to check its boot sequences and again to prepare a subscribed download. Processing is server-side, in memory, and never adds your file to the public database. Your original remains unchanged; the browser keeps your selection for up to two hours.
From original read to prepared file
- Read and back up the PCM. Start with a complete boot-capable raw BIN read. Keep the original and any matching EEPROM or shadow backup.
- Select and check. Choose HP Tuners or DiabloSport, then GPEC2, GPEC2A up to 2018, or GPEC2A 2019+. We check support before asking you to subscribe.
- Sign in and download. A current GPEC subscription unlocks supported downloads. The server verifies the required changes and preservation of your other data before release.
- Program with the correct tool. Write using the matching boot-capable procedure and verify the readback before moving to the tool's normal OBD flashing workflow.
HP Tuners and DiabloSport are separate choices
A file prepared for one platform is not automatically suitable for the other. The controller family, boot version and original bytes matter more than the model-year label alone.
The supported byte-edit methods find their original/prepared instruction sequences instead of assuming fixed edit offsets. DiabloSport applies two matched changes on supported GPEC2A 2019+ files. The HP Tuners 2019+ method instead replaces a specifically compatible boot.
Tool licences and interface hardware are separate. Applicable 2018+ vehicles can also require access around the Security Gateway. Follow your tool manufacturer's vehicle-specific instructions.

GPEC unlock service questions
What does the GPEC unlock module do?
It checks your complete raw GPEC2 or GPEC2A read against a supported file-preparation method. For a supported HP Tuners or DiabloSport input, an active module subscription allows you to download a prepared BIN. The file must then be written using the appropriate boot-capable ECU programming tool.
Can I flash the downloaded BIN directly over OBD with HP Tuners?
No. The prepared raw BIN belongs in the matching boot-capable programming workflow. Once the PCM has been prepared, HP Tuners OBD reading and calibration flashing use VCM Suite and its own .hpt format. Vehicle support, interface, licensing and any applicable Security Gateway connection requirements still apply.
Does this work on every GPEC2A up to 2018 or 2019+?
No. The year selection identifies the method family; software and boot layout determine whether your file is supported. GPEC2A byte-edit methods find unique original/prepared instruction sequences within the boot, even when those sequences move. GPEC2 also requires its verified complete boot identity. HP Tuners 2019+ uses a separate compatible-boot replacement method. Unsupported files remain unchanged, and the page will not offer a subscription purchase for that file.
Is DiabloSport OBD flashing unlock available?
Yes, for GPEC2A 2019+ files matching the supported boot instruction sequences. The method applies both validated changes while preserving calibration and other data. It does not apply to every boot version or replace the handheld's vehicle licensing requirements.
What is included in the $20 monthly subscription?
The GPEC unlock module costs $20 USD per month, tax included, and renews monthly until cancelled. It provides access to supported GPEC file preparation while your subscription is active. It does not include HP Tuners or DiabloSport hardware, tool licences, file-library credits, custom tuning or other unlock modules.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Sign in and choose Manage subscription on this page to update your payment method or cancel the next renewal through Stripe. Cancelling renewal keeps access through the end of your paid billing period.
What happens to my original file?
Your BIN is uploaded privately to check its boot sequences on the server. The browser retains your selection for up to two hours through login and Stripe Checkout. Subscribed preparation runs on the server, never adds the BIN to the public database, and never overwrites your original file.
